Hi folks. You found me! Welcome to my website. I hope you enjoy perusing it; and if you do- maybe we’ll meet on earth sometime!
BIO
A little about me. I’m the youngest of five by two minutes. My twin sister Jodi was on top of me so no one knew I was there! She came out, doctor walked away and two minutes later the nurse yelled, “my God there is another one!” and I came shooting out feet first, left handed with curly hair. Five years older than us is another set of twins, and two years ahead of them is my big brother, so we are five kids, three pregnancies and two surprises.
Born in New York, at five we moved to Philadelphia and at 12 we moved to the Hawaiian Islands, where I grew up. Later on, I transferred from the University of Hawaii to NYU Tisch School of the Arts where I received my BFA in Drama.
People ask me if I’m an army brat—nope—my father, Les Keiter, was a sportscaster and at the time of our birth he was announcing the Knicks on WINS Radio, the NY Titans, and Giants Football. When the Giants baseball team moved to San Francisco, Dad did those games via the forgotten art form of the “baseball recreate.”
Following my father- I’ve been a jock head all along playing basketball, softball, soccer, and upon our move to Hawaii I became a water baby. Swimming, snorkeling and surfing like crazy! I was on the Varsity Basketball and Volleyball teams throughout High School and following graduation, I ran the Honolulu Marathon as well as the NYC Marathon several years later.
I was last seen onstage reprising my role as, Sally-the Muffin Lady”, in Doubles Crossed, a Funny…Sheesh production. I have also been workshopping my new solo show, Recreating Keiter. I have two films in post production, Maybe There’s A Tree? and Diminishing Returns both written and directed by Ashlin Halfnight. I’ve been seen in commercials on MTV and the FX Channel, music videos, and on College Humor. In Los Angeles, I garnered two Dramalogue Awards. In between my acting gigs, you can see me enjoying my hobby at work- walking historical tours of the city. Details were highlighted in Jacqueline Hennessey’s NYCitywoman article.
